Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of QuinScout. By using the service, you agree to them.

The service

QuinScout provides one shared daily set of AI-assisted news summaries, relevance context based on saved profile choices, source links, optional follow-up answers, and Premium audio. Summaries and generated answers may contain errors and are informational, not professional advice. Review original sources before making consequential decisions.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for your account and credentials. Do not misuse the service, probe its security, automate abusive requests, submit unlawful or infringing material, or interfere with another person’s rights. QuinScout may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.

Premium subscriptions

QuinScout Premium renews automatically for the period and price shown at purchase unless cancelled before renewal. Purchases made in the iOS app are billed and managed by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. Manage or cancel them in your App Store account. Website subscriptions are managed through PayMongo in QuinScout settings. Cancellation stops future renewal and ordinarily preserves access through the paid period. Apple handles Apple-purchase refunds.

Account deletion and billing

Deleting a QuinScout account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription. QuinScout provides an Apple management link and requires acknowledgement of this before deletion. A valid Apple purchase can be restored after deletion by signing into a new QuinScout account and using Restore Purchases. QuinScout attempts to cancel a renewing PayMongo subscription before deleting an account and stops deletion if cancellation cannot be confirmed.

Sources, ownership, and availability

QuinScout’s software, design, and original presentation belong to QuinScout or its licensors. Publisher articles, headlines, images, trademarks, and other third-party material remain subject to their owners’ rights and source terms. Source links and publisher availability can change, and QuinScout does not guarantee that a source or feature will remain continuously available.

Availability and changes

We may improve, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. We may update these terms and will post the effective date here. To the extent permitted by law, QuinScout is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability.
